Head butler

Our client has an exclusive luxury Villa located in Imperia Italy and is currently seeking a Head Butler to join our team of professionals.  The right candidate will have experience in working as a butler/residence manager,  in a private household . The candidate must be a multi-talented, flexible, hands-on individual who is able to multi-task and to cater for the individual needs of all guests for whom he/she is responsible.

The responsibilities would include:

•staff management: participating in the recruitment of junior butlers and maids, organizing, training and supervising them

•table management

•developing standard operational manuals

•developing schedules and routines

•meet and greet

•organizing luggage packing

•catering for the individual needs of guests, ensuring individualized service

•inventory control

Other tasks are must be very good at Concierge!

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

•minimum 4 years of work experience as a butler/residence manager, in the private and/or corporate sector

•relevant education (Graduate TBBI 4 week course)

•good knowledge of catering and formal dining etiquette, and housekeeping practices

•good knowledge of general etiquette and protocol

•excellent communicational and interpersonal skills

•computer literate

•fluent in English and Italian

Interview will take place at the residence in London, however a telephonic interview will be the first step.

Start date is July 2021 and it will be a live-in position with all the perks associated with being Major Domo including 2 flights paid for a year as part of the package anywhere in Europe.
