Live in Head Butler – House Manager (preferably English and French)

Position Type: Permanent vacancy

Salary: Based on qualifications & experience(between  60k – 80K)

Contract Type: Monaco CDI contract

Starting date: ASAP

This position encompasses serving a large household in Monaco (Monaco).

Main Duties include:

Manage, organize and coordinate the day to day operation of the household

Be responsible for ensuring all owner and guest requirements are met and exceeded through a high level of proactive leadership

Organizing and supervising household staff (housekeeper, cooks and maids) as well as outside contractors and personnel (gardeners, maintenance personnel, etc.) per household procedures.

Update the owners about the physical condition of the property, any renovations and maintenance required and all financial arrangements.

Plans all maintenance and repair works with vendors, and ensures that the property at any time is at his best conditions.

Understands concepts like being anticipatory, friendly not familiar, privacy and confidentiality, invisible and available.

Answers residence phone, receives guests at the door and supervises the reception of visitors.

Assists with staff training and organizes the duties and schedule of domestic staff.

Keep the household budgets and inventory supplies.

Compile all data for financial reports by regularly maintaining and updating all records and files.

Schedule and oversee vendors of contracted services.

Oversees family packing and travel preparations.

Understands social etiquette and formal service.

Oversees and participates in proper table settings and entertainment prep.

Serves meals and drinks.

Knowledgeable about wines and spirits and oversees the wine cellar and liqueur inventory

Assist with household and family security measures

Understand all technical details needed to ensure all the property’s systems work as expected and feel comfortable in identifying and proactively fix any issue may arise

Minimum 3 years experienced as Head Butler with HNWI families or 5 Star Hotel management

Ability to deliver a high degree of service etiquette
